But Wait, There’s More…

I hope I’ve made you take another look at Chanel Peridot and maybe changed your minds about adding it to your polish stash. While it is pretty awesome on its own (take a look), I thought I’d really make it shine, Cult Nails style!

Always Winning over Peridot - Full Sun

I know! It might be a shame to take such a high priced polish like Chanel and put something over it. But, let me tell you, these two were made for each other. Peridot offers the perfect opaque base to layer under Cult Nail’s Always Winning. Yes, you lose the multichrome, but you pick up the holo heaven!

Always Winning over Peridot - Partial Sun

This was a base coat, two layers of Chanel Peridot, Seche Vite Fast Dry topcoat, one layer of Always Winning (yep, that’s all it took) and a final Seche Vite Fast Dry topcoat.

Warning! If you wear this combo, people will comment on your nails. They will be blinded by the light.

Always Winning over Peridot - Partial Holo

Because I only used one final layer of topcoat, the surface texture was slightly gritty, but that never bothers me. You could add another layer of a topcoat and I’m sure it would smooth things out.

Always Winning over Peridot - Blurred to show Holo Glitter

Maria at Cult Nails has struck gold with this polish. Look at all of those sparkling glitter gems.

Noodles approves of this polish combo

Noodles, my camera assistant, could not keep his eyes off of the shimmer!

This gets the Noodles Caturday Stamp of Approval and mine too!

What combos have you tried with Peridot or Always Winning?
